Active intrinsic safety barriers RIZUR-ISKRA-221

RIZUR-ISKRA-221 are used to restrict electricity supplied into the explosion-hazardous areas. They provide connection of the devices located in explosion-proof areas and equipment located in the explosion-hazardous areas.

RIZUR-ISKRA-221 is mounted onto a DIN-rail or a wall. It converts 4...20 mA signal into the 0...5 mA, 0...20 mA. It's possible to connect the I.S. barrier to the passive sensors with a current output 4...2 0mA located inside the explosion-hazardous areas. The I.S. barrier powers the output signal circuit and the sensor.

RIZUR-ISKRA-221 barries can be single-channeled and two-channeled.

Advantages RIZUR-ISKRA-221:

  • explosion-proof marking,

  • small size,

  • low cost,

  • different mounting options,

  • possible supply voltage 220 V or 24,36,

  • precise signal transmission (relative accuracy - no more than 0,1%)

Steady operation of the I.S. barrier with the stabilizer (providing power supply for the RIZUR-ISKRA-221, output signal circuit and sensor circuit) involves transmitting voltage 24V from the power source. The transducer coverts the 4...20mA signal coming from the sensor located in the explosion-hazardous area into the 4...20, 0...20 or 0...5mA signals transferred further to the measuring equipment.

RIZUR-ISKRA-221 is manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union TR TS 012-2011 on the "Safety of equipment intended for use in explosive atmospheres”. Compliance certificate № ЕАЭС RU C-RU.HA91.B.00029/19 issued by an authorized body OOO SC “ENDURANCE”.
