Bollards
Bollards become more and more necessary as the number of cars on the streets is increasing each day. Without bollards lots of people try to park on sidewalks to leave their cars safe from the busy streets. Such behavior of the car owners is a real danger for health (and sometimes even life) of people moving across the sidewalks. There’s an easy and effective way to solve this problem – bollards. Such type of equipment:
- excludes the possibility of parking on or moving across the sidewalks, squares, areas surrounding apartment blocks, shopping malls, venues, stadiums;
- provides pedestrians safety.
Bollards are used for organizing parking areas and dividing them into parking spaces in a way that there're no obstructions during entrance and exit, as well as boarding of the passengers. Different types of bollards are used for caging the territory, chosen for the parking area, and to define parking space for each car:
- parking barriers;
- parking columns;
- parking bumpers.
Bollard
Bollards are used for permanent individual reservation of a parking space or for temporal restriction of the vehicles’ passage. When the car owner wants to occupy his parking space, he easily lowers the bollard to a horizontal position and when the owner leaves the space – lifts it to a vertical position, showing that the place is taken. The telescopic tube of the bollard has an opening for a padlock installation.
Bollard construction:
U-shaped arc – made from a 51mm tube;
Height - 450 mm.;
Length - 750 mm.;
Coating – powder paint, orange polish;
Base fastening - 6 anchor bolts.
Parking column
Main purpose of the parking columns is division of places for vehicle parking, designating road and pedestrian areas, preventing vehicles from passing into closed territories, protecting lawns from being used as parking spaces. Stationary parking columns are divided depending on the type of fastening:
Concrete-type – the base is installed in the hole in the road pavement and filled with concrete.
Anchor-type – the pole has a flange with 4 openings for anchor bolts for fastening to the road pavement.
The parking column construction:
Tube with 76mm diameter and 750mm height;
Coating – powder paint, silver polish;
Faucet ears for the chain mounting - 2 pcs.;
Light-reflecting stickers - 2 pcs.;
Base fastening - 4 anchor bolts.
Parking bumper (wheel stopper)
Parking bumper construction:
U-shaped arc – made from a 108mm tube;
Coating – powder paint acc. to RAL;
Flanges for fasting to the road pavement;
Base fastening - 8 anchor bolts.
