Active intrinsic safety barriers RIZUR-ISKRA-202

RIZUR-ISKRA-202 barriers comply a passive barrier and different variants of signal transducers. They are used to limit electricity supplied to the explosion-hazardous areas. RIZUR-ISKRA-202 provide connection of the devices located in the explosion-proof areas and equipment located in the explosion-hazardous areas.  

Depending on the design variants the barriers are mounted onto the electrical box or a DIN-rail. RIZUR-ISKRA-202 devices transmit and covert the 0…5, 4…20, 0…20mA signals (for example, an input signal 4…20mA is converted into an output signal 4…20mA), as well as signals from the switches and electrical contact pins; they power resistance and potentiometer transducers.

The operating principle for I.S. barriers used for connection of passive sensors (located in the explosion-hazardous area) with an output signal 4…20mA and converting it into the output signals 0…5, 0…20, 4…20mA is the following: during steady operation of the barrier, the stabilizer (that provides the power supply for the RIZUR-ISKRA-202, output signal circuit and sensor circuit) receives 24V voltage from the power source. It converts the 4…20mA signal from the sensor located in the explosion-hazardous area into the 4…20, 0…20, 0…5mA signals transferred further to the measuring equipment. 

RIZUR-ISKRA-202 is manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union TR TS 012-2011 on the "Safety of equipment intended for use in explosive atmospheres”. Compliance certificate № ЕАЭС RU C-RU.HA91.B.00029/19 issued by an authorized body OOO SC “ENDURANCE”.
